With multiple routes converging here, there are many conflicting movements to be handled.

Passenger services are frequent and varied, while additional freight and empty stock movements also need to be dealt with.
Includes the West Curve, Southcote Junction and the Southern Lines, as well as the 3 stations at Reading, Reading West and Tilehurst.
